What is the ICF?

The International Coach Federation (ICF), is the gold standard for world-wide coach credentialing. Becoming an ICF credentialed coach, makes the statement that you are a trained professional who has attained the gold standard of coaching credentials. Why choose the Coach Certification Training Academy for my ICF coaching education?

As an ICF Accredited education program, you will receive your coaching training and know you have chosen a program that is “best in class”. The Coach Certification Training Academy, fulfills all your training requirements for your ICF Level 1 ACC Credential – 60 Hours of training aligned to all ICF requirements; 10 Hours of required Mentor Coaching; and your Performance Evaluation. Why get an ICF Credential?

Becoming a Certified Professional Coach (Level 1 Part 1 Course) is the first step in your coaching education and career. You can call yourself a Certified Professional Coach. Then, you will want to continue your coach training to become an Associate Certified Coach as designated by the International Coaching Federation (Level 1 Part 2 Course). This designates that you have achieved the most rigorous training in the coaching industry – around the world!

To achieve this goal, you will need to complete both Part 1 – Journey to Coaching and Part 2 – Building Your Professional Coaching Skills. Both courses have the same format of Five 3-Hour modules over 5 weeks and include your required 60 hours of education, 10 Hours of Mentor Coaching and Performance Evaluation. If you are serious about becoming a professional coach and want to open doors to coaching individuals, as well as engagements in a corporate, government or executive coaching space, this credential is what you need.
